It's my party....

Miss Lily had not one, not two, but THREE birthday parties this year (like Paris Hilton only all of Lily's were on the same continent). Hey, you only turn one once, right?
That means she had birthday cake three times in one week! I am sure it was the greatest week of her little life :)
Good thing she doesn't have any teeth yet; we'd have some serious brushing to do!!

Just can't get enough cake!

The aftermath

Big brother so sweetly helping with her last cake.

Peak Fest

Yesterday we took the kids to the Dogwood Festival in Piedmont Park. There was one tent with a drum circle in it; anyone could grab a drum and join in. Lily, being the kind sis she is, did just that. She loved it! She was banging away and didn't seem to mind that it was really loud in there. Outside the tent, Sam and his friend Reagan treated the crowd to some of their sweet dance moves. Time to go on tour, bra....

Musings

Do you think surgeons have perfectly tweezed eyebrows?

Is there one cart, just one, at any of the WalMarts across the world that has four wheels that all roll smoothly in the same direction? I think they put three working wheels on each cart then toss on one more from the reject wheel pile....just to screw with me.

Why does WalMart bother building 42 checkout lanes when there are never ever more than 3 open, okay.... maybe 4 during Christmas time, even when the lines stretch back to the auto parts section?

Hmm........ why don't I stop shopping at WalMart (or just quit bitching about it) and have someone else groom my eyebrows for me?

Okay, that's it.

The next John Singer Sargent?

Steve was kind enough to pose for the artist. A true rendering of the subject, don't you think?
