Oy vey
A conversation with my son after he had an accident today:
"Mom, you feel mad I pooped my pants?"
"Yes, Sam, Mom feels mad and sad when you poop in your pants. You know how to use the potty! .....How do you feel when you poop in your pants?"
"I feel better."
I bet you do, you little s**t, I mean, darling angel.

Dancing Queen
Hang in there. He doesn't really hit his groove until 1:30 or so.
I can't wait to embarrass him with this video when he's older ;)

Happy Birthday Lilybug!
Today Lily is eight months old. Where did all the time go?? Sometimes I lie down next to her and whisper in her ear, "Slow down! There is no hurry to grow up. Stay my baby as long as you can!!"
I remember being so excited to see Sam do the next thing, make the next milestone, but I don't feel that way with her. I want her to be my baby girl a little longer.
I love you, Lily.

Iiiiiit's bacon!!!!!
Anyone? Anyone?
....that Beggin' Strips commercial where the dog is freaking out saying "It's bacon, it's bacon, it's bacon, it's bacon, iiiiiiiit's BACON!!"
No? Oh well. I loved that commercial.
Anywho, while we are discussing pork products, I want to tell you Sam, Lily, and I, along with our friends Elissa and Reagan, took part in an Atlanta tradition this week. We rode the Pink Pig. It was great fun!

We also went to see Santa Claus and Sam did not freak out like he has in the past. Lily wasn't thrilled but didn't cry. Sam asked Santa to bring him "Princess game" for his Leapster (He was playing his cousin Maggie's princess game when we were in Disney World.) As we walked away, he shouted at Santa, "Good boy! Good boy!" like he was thinking "Oh crap, I forgot to tell him I was good!" You can't see that photo because you'll see it on our Christmas card :)

The happiest place on earth
We went to Disney World with Mom and Dad to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. It was awesome and nobody wanted the fun to end.
Andy and Lily waiting for the Jungle Cruise.

Mom and Dad meet Mickey at Chef Mickey's Breakfast.

Lily was very intrigued by Minnie Mouse.

We had a Mickey shaped baby pool at our house!

The whole gang before Chef Mickey's Breakfast. Oh yes, we are all wearing matching t-shirts with a picture of Mom and Dad dressed as Mickey and Minnie Mouse for Halloween many moons ago.
