Lily-a-Go-Go

I don't know what this child is doing in my belly but it seems to be some sort of dance or step aerobics routine. At this time of night, she goes wild. I can pull up my shirt and watch her move around. It's crazy! I am starting to feel nostalgic because this is very possibly the last time I will be pregnant and it is almost over! I like feeling her wild woman ways in there. It makes me hope she comes out dancing!
I can't wait to meet my silly little girl.

A rough day

Sunday night, Sam wasn't feeling well (too much Easter excitement) and I was exhausted so we spent the night curled up on the couch together. I think it is safe to say we have both had days when we looked better! Oh well.

Happy Easter!

Sam's Easter plans: First, dye the eggs.

Next, hunt for eggs...

Or play baseball while your friend hunts.

Last, nap with Daddy after a few mimosas and a big meal!

Good Friday

Many people celebrate Good Friday by going to a church service or Stations of the Cross. Not us. We let our baby play Nekkid Baseball in the yard.
Don't worry...we plan on going to Easter mass either tomorrow or Sunday.

Blount Cultural Park

There is a beautiful park surrounding the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art and the Alabama Shakespeare Theatre called Blount Cultural Park (I think I have all these names right!). We took Nonnie and Poppie Tuck there to feed the ducks. However, Sam didn't care about the ducks one bit so he played near the fountain. He was soaked by the time we left!

A little angel

Could this possibly be the same child that kept his parents up for HOURS the night before? He looks so sweet and innocent. Last night he was like a possessed energizer bunny from about 1 to 5 am.

No matter how old you are,

It's never too late to learn some lessons from your daddy.

Auntie Shanny comes to town

Shannon came to visit last weekend during her spring break. We dragged her down to Fairhope to see the family since it had been about 10 years since she had been there. The last time she was at my parents' house, Ben was a BABY! Note: she says he looks unbelievably different but still acts the same! Just kidding, B!
She went to little Evan's birthday party too. Sam and his cousins loved playing with her!

At the playground

Sam saying hi to a new friend in the playhouse.

Neighbors describe Sam as "a real loner, quiet guy, sat by himself on the playground scribbling furiously in a book even when all the other children played around him." Just kidding, folks! He really did take my crossword puzzle book for a few minutes and "write" in it while other kids played. What a dork.

Getting brave! He usually goes around this rope thing but today tried it out all by himself. Mostly he just sat in it and tried to reach pieces of candy other kids dropped beneath it.
